 conceptual
Redbeard's standard concepting practice is to prepare written concepts for you to review and approve. These written concepts include concept notes, headlines, subheads, and a detailed written description of the graphical style to be used in the successful execution of the concept. If a concept is especially difficult to convey in writing, we may include a thumbnail sketch, visual sampler, or style sheet as well. Several written concepts will be submitted. Once a concept has been selected, our creative team will begin the design process. First drafts will be created and submitted and consecutive rounds of revisions will follow until you are completely satisfied leading up to your final approval. Depending on your preference, PDFs, laser and color proofs, folding dummies, and print proofs will be submitted throughout the process. Ultimately, a signed approval will be required before a job is allowed to leave the shop for printing.
